Light Up Chhanga the project introduced to supply 24hours of electricity with a 5kw peltric set at CHHANGA 2360m, Kanku the Village in Eastern Solukhumbu region of Nepal.
The Project was successfully able to light up the whole village including Kanku Community health post at Chhanga Solukhumbu.
In cooperation with Christina Hirber and SANCHO the electricity supply in Mural village could be realized. In total 3000 m of electricity cables have been used to provide the 140 villagers with electricity.
The community has been using locally available wooden post for the power line distribution, however in due time needed replacement owing to the wearing out of the material used. STEPZERO.ONE has been able to aid the community for the replacement of these wooden posts with much reliable iron posts.
These 36 wooden posts that were used in the transmission line of the power supplied to the village will be replaced with more sturdy iron posts that can be able to withstand much weathering effects.
